Terms of Service

By accessing or using TaxTrack SA ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.

The Service is provided by TaxTrack SA (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa.

TaxTrack SA provides:

• Tax document storage and organization
• Expense and deduction tracking
• Tax analytics and insights
• Filing deadline reminders

To use most features of TaxTrack SA, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account use
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

Free Plan: Basic features are available at no cost.

Pro Plan: Premium features require a paid subscription.

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in South African Rand (ZAR)
• Payments are processed securely through our payment partners
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Refunds are available within 14 days of initial purchase if you haven't used premium features extensively

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Store content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Use the Service for money laundering or tax evasion
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission

Our Content: The Service, including its design, features, and code, is owned by TaxTrack SA and protected by intellectual property laws.

Your Content: You retain ownership of documents you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it for providing the Service.

By You: You may delete your account at any time through Settings. Upon deletion, your data will be removed according to our Privacy Policy.

By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on severity.

Effect: Upon termination, you lose access to the Service. Provisions that should survive termination (e.g., liability limitations) will remain in effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

This agreement is subject to the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 where applicable.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via:

• Email notification to registered users
• Prominent notice on the Service
• Updated "Last updated" date

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
